For maximum enjoyment and safety, we suggest that you burn your Crysdle Crystal Candles as follows:

• Burning candles are hot! Molten wax is hot! Glass containers are hot! Use caution if you need to touch or move a burning candle, or a candle with molten wax.
• Place the candle on a heat proof, burn-proof surface. Make sure that the burning candles are not close to anything that can catch fire.
• Ideal wick length is about ¼ inch. Re-trim before each burning, if necessary. If a mushroom head forms on the wick, use a piece of tissue paper to pinch it off. Of course, you should not trim a wick when the candle is burning or when there is hot, molten wax present.
• Place the candle in a location with no drafts. Drafts can cause the flame to flicker excessively, resulting in incomplete combustion and soot formation. If your candle does form some soot, it can be easily removed with a tissue. For safety’s sake remove soot only when your candle is not burning and there is no molten wax present.
• For longest life and best fragrance delivery, burn your candles for no more than 2-3 hours at a time.
• For safety’s sake, do not burn the candle to the very bottom. Leave 1/4-1/2 inch of wax to prevent overheating.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep burning candles out of reach of children or animals.
